I'm just returning from a great short tour of Germany. I performed in Osnabruck at the Acoustic Country Blues Festival at the Lutherhaus with Rev. Robert Jones and Eleanor Ellis, and then to The Jazzkeller in Frankfurt with The Down Home Percolators featuring Klaus "Mojo" Kilian. Off again by train to the hinterlands, and basing ourselves out of Bad Gandersheim with our host Axel Kustner, me and Eleanor played several gigs supported by a great local stringband called Front Porch Picking. Lots of fun was had, the scenery was beautiful and the German audiences were the greatest. Here's a photo of old Lightnin' playing outdoors in the Old Country.
